#2

I meant to post this one, another view from the dress where i only liked the top.

And if you're wondering about my hair....

Alla ripped my hair out of the bun and bent me forward grabbing at my hair to flop it on top of my head and slapped on the crown! I was a bit frightened with her from that point forward as we had only spoken two words thus far!

Wedding dress trip #1

Well I made it out alive!

First off I did not find "the one" but did indeed found what I did not want!

I went to Sara's condo in Salem on Saturday morning and then we were off! But of course not before stepping in a BIG pile of dog poo with my only once worn JCrew leather flip flops. That was fun! Moving right along.

We had the funniest sales woman Alla, she loved Sara and towards the end of our trip there she went off and did other things as she felt Sara had it down!

Here's me and my girl Alla looking at the pictures I brought in which really did help! Thanks to the veteran brides for this tip!
This dress is a bit plain but I wanted to see how a sash would look on me. I liked it, but when you add a sash the dress is just that plain. But the price tag was pretty lovely $199.00

I liked the top part of the dress but was not a fan of the bottom, it weighed about 20lbs and really stuck out there. I don't think we'd be able to successfuly complete "kiss the bride" in this bad boy!

I swear big ole' white wedding dresses do nothing for me! :)

Another look, i like the top on this but do not like how it over laps half way through the skirt.

And of course here is the one you've all been waiting for! I swear the dress was so itchy I could not put my arms down.

Music Guy just needs is a mullet and we'd be ready to go!
We had a great time! After we headed for some Mexican and to get our nails done, a perfect ending to a gals afternoon!

More on the weekend later!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Dear JCrew

"we wish we'd made more of this style.it SOLD OUT much faster than expected.
we apologize for the inconvenience"

THEN TAKE IT OFF YOUR DAMN SITE

Because only you would care!

I am happy to say I will soon be a proud owner of my 5th Vineyard Vines Classic Tote. But this isn't just a bunch of crabs and palm trees. It my friend is BEACON HILL STREET SIGNS. Yep that's right, a tote bag with my old hoods street signs. Only can be found at Blackstone's in Beacon Hill

AND I also got word they will be coming out with vv sashes with the same design. That screams rehearsal dinner with a white dress.

Tonight I think we're watching the game over at Music Guys sisters. Hopefully it won't be rained out! We all know what I'm doing tomorrow (I also got a tip from my lovely friend Sando that i need to wear FULL underwear, guess the ladies putting the dresses on me don't care to check out my tattoo.)

I am so excited to get my nails done, kid you not I have not gotten my nails done since J's engagement party on Feb 5th. And after working out like a donkey the past month my feet are well a bit in rough shape.

Then to a Jewelry party at a colleagues house in Beverly, more or less a chance to stop by for an afternoon cocktail! Then it's back to the city to hang out with the one and only A & B. Woohoo!

Hopefully i'll be able to get some gym time in or at least run around the Navy Yard. Though it's no Charles River, it's still to see water!

Da Da

My fave beach meets NYC gal Suz is looking for a new beach bag, and I am here to help!

Now this little number would be perfect you can store your snacks and icy cold drinks right in the pockets! And there is enough room for a towel and frisbee (which doubles as a plate my friend)

Moving right along, we're keeping with the beverage storage theme. A nice light color for those hot Hampton days!

For the Pink and Green in us!

And now to my all time fave, it's lined in plastic...it's like a cooler but way cuter!

Well Suz, I hope that helped!!!!

xo,
K
If you're still confused, I think the vv Tisbury tote looks like a diaper bag...and she is thinking of getting it! gez!

Wave HI to Fave couple A & B

Its karma Earl

I had planned on walking to work this morning but decided against it and well I stepped on the bus and took a seat next to a guy to only realize that he smelled like mothballs. Serves me right for taking public trans on a sunny April morn. Moving right along!

Thanks to my gal CMB I found a great birthday gift for J (Music Guy's sister). Yep it's the lobster makeup bag. Her fiance's family has a place in Maine and it would be a perfect addition when they weekend up there.

Thank you for all your kind comments, I'm very much looking forward to Saturday. One of my fab bridesmaids Sara will be accompanying me. And you can be sure she will pick out the not so Kimba dress have me try it on and convince the sales woman it's the one and we'll be back with a check. Oh and have pictures from every angle just as my blogging ladies would hope for! She's a gem! :)

Say it isn't so...

This Saturday I will be going wedding dress shopping for the first time! Should be fun right?

I also am also going back and forth with Aria on Newbury for an appointment to see their bridesmaid dresses. She has an opening at 6pm tomorrow night but I just don't really want to go without A or Sara so it seems i'll just have to wait!

If only my darn Maid of Honor lived here, isn't that her job! :)

Another find

I think is this a cute style, but I feel it wouldn't "sit" right on everyone. It just has that look about it in my eyes. I also am starting to get annoyed with the color choices of navy. I mean for the love of god, how can you mess up navy.

I like my navy simple, not flashy or bland, but navy is it really that much to ask? I also saw some super cute idea's in this months Martha Stewart Wedding. The wonderful mother of the bride got me a years subscription. Also a year of Modern Bride and some other bridal magazine. I am sure our post man is a HUGE fan of me. At least he doesn't have to lug it monthly, though Vogue and the other 39o4798735 magazines I get to he does! Hey I didn't ask you to up my stamp. And to the Boston area gals who just can't get enough Wedding talk The Improper Bostonian current issue is the Bridal Guide!

It seems now when I talk to people I haven't spoken with in a few weeks ask "Tell me what's new for your wedding plans". (Please note this does not include you A from Fave Couple) I think for a second and say "nothing really" and then I start to think oh crap am I suppose to be doing something and get all jittery. Then I have to take a step back and remind myself it's fine!

Speaking of Fave Couple I would like to congratulate them on becoming Aunt and Uncle to their new nephew!

And i'm off....

After a great walk to work this morning and a great 30 min run on the treadmill and 10 walk with the incline at 9.0 and the speed 3.6...i'm off for my walk home!

***Please note i'm tracking my workouts via blogworld so I don't have write it down anywhere else.***

One Lucky Commuter

I use to think that my commute from Beacon Hill to Post Office Square was the best going. And now that spring time is upon us that could still hold true.

I am becoming very happy with my commute from Charlestown to Post Office Square. But I am becoming extremely happy with my commute from Post Office Square to Charlestown.
Almost my whole walk when I leave work is on the Freedom Trail. As soon as the Trail hits the North End I go left and pick it up on the Charlestown Bridge. It’s a nice walk!

When I leave work I am only about a block from The Old State house.
As I walk down Congress Street I cut through the Union Oyster House which is the oldest restaurant in Boston and the oldest restaurant in continuous service in the U.S. I went here on my 18th birthday and had lobster for the first time. That's a lot for a gal from Wisconsin.
From there I walk down a street that borders the North End and onto the Charlestown Bridge, this is such a pretty view of the Bunker Hill Monument.
This is my least favorite part, the grates always make me freaked as if they'll open. I will have to take a picture when I walk across to prove it is a bit nerve racking. It really gets me when big trucks and buses cross while i'm on it!
After you cross the bridge you enter the City Square Park, first site of the Massachusetts Bay Colony government.

After I go over a few streets I'm home and very thankful of the wonderful historical city I live in!

ice coffee

The closest Dunkin' is a little random stand. Of course there are a few father down from my office but most of the time I don't bother as there is a Starbucks on every corner. Well the problem is when it comes to Ice Coffee, Starbucks just won't cut it.
So I walked up to the little stand and asked for a large iced coffee with skim mike and four equals. The woman told me they did not have ice coffee until their shipment tomorrow (this was yesterday) and I thought how on earth can I not have an iced coffee when it's the warmest day of the year.
So instead of sucking it up and going to Starbucks I went to the next Dunkin' and waited in a long line and finally got my coffee. By the time I got back to the office I was gone for 38 minutes.

Is that crazy for just a single iced coffee?

Home already

Woo. That was a quick trip. And a wicked fun trip it was!

We flew out on Friday around noon and got into DET at 2pm. Music Guy's aunt picked us up and drove me around the water front to see all of what Mo-Town had to offer! Which again was quick!

We dropped his aunt off and headed to Birmingham where MG grew up. That town has some high class soccer moms. We went to The Hunter House for a slider and cheese fries. It was the first time I had tried cheese fries and though they are pretty good, I don't think I'll be trying them again. I think there was just way to much going on for my liking.

We got back to his aunts and hung out with them on their porch it was nice to hang out and just relax with a cocktail in hand of course.
J, G and their family friend Kris came over and we watch the Sox game and headed out to the 5th Avenue Bar in Royal Oak. I felt way to old in the bar, it was like spring break the streets were crowed and everyone was wasted. But hey, I don't judge!

Saturday was J's bridal shower! It was 70+ outside and we were at another aunts who lives on this beautiful lake in Hartland. It was a guy and gal shower so I was happy to have my guy with me. Regardless his family is so great I don't need him around!

Wonderful food, wonderful drinks, wonderful family and lots of hot sun! A perfect shower! We stayed til about 8pm and then it was back to Royal Oak to pack up and head to bed.

Our flight on Sunday was at 8:30am so we did nothing more than roll into the call and plane and head back to bean town!

After we got home we had a plan to get our outdoor space all set, and that we did! We went to Home Goods and got this perfect patio set. Then it was off to Home Depot for plans and flower boxes. I panted the flowers and am not really a big fan of them but maybe i'll see how they grow. We also got some medium size palm plans and well we kind of live in a wind tunnle so we have a bet going of how long those poor things will last. Not long I say!

We grilled burgers and had pasta salad for dinner all while watching the BEST sox game all year! I freaking love this time of year! Baseball, girlling, sitting on the deck. Life is good!

And then today it was back to the real world. I have a super busy work week so I'll try to post the pictures from this weekend later on in the week. I just had a salad from Cosi and the chicken was so salty I might need a sour patch kid to take the bite away!

High of 70

in Mo-Town this weekend.

wooohooo!

Off to the gym............

Friday for me

That's right guys, I only have a three day work week!

We're flying to Detroit tomorrow morning! Kimba and Music Guy are heading to Detroit Rock City for the weekend. Saturday is JJ's bridal shower with her family who is still back in Michigan.

It'll be a fun quick trip, Music Guy is going to show me all around where he grew up. I can't wait!
I'm a bit bummed to be leaving the great weather we have in store for the weekend, but my fingers are crossed it will be nice there also!

One would think only working three days in a week would be great, I on the other had beg to differ. I haven't slept much because I keep thinking about all that has to be done before the end of today. Not that when I come back on Monday it will be gone...it's still be sitting in my pink and green file folders for me to do. But you get me right?

Even though I've been super busy I've been able to make it to the gym all week and walked home in the rain last night. It's a great walk, I can't to do it when it's not 35', raining and windy as all hell.

Much love to my Red Sox and step brother who called me at 2am bar time which is 3am my time.....

Hold a little tighter tonight and always

I'm prayers go out to everyone who was affected by yesterdays tragedy.

It really hits home when you look across at your loved ones and people you pass by everyday and think tomorrow you or they could be gone.

<3 to all!

No vaca week here

Hi all, not much to report from Marathon Monday, I can report I'm feeling old!

Back to the office today with a ton on my plate as I am out of the office on Friday. Tuesdays are the busiest days and we have the CEO of our company here so that will take a chunk out of the day. I'm hoping I can get on the phone about 5 minutes before we are set to report for the "speech". I'd love to attend, it's just not in my best interest unless I want to sleep at the office.

Anyone see the couple who got married during the Marathon yesterday and were engaged at the NYC marathon. Now those are some runners!

I'm putting together a Gals Blogger night at my place and wanted to extened the invite to the Boston crew. Let me know your thoughts!

More later!

Stop bitching about the f'in rain

Is what I just told Music Guy. Though it is nuts outside here in Chuck-town, our house is moving I swear!

It's a great feeling knowing I'm on vacation tomorrow. The weekend was all around pretty good!

Friday night we went to JJ and G's to watch the Sox game on their very nice 50" flat screen. Sox, burgers and beer is a wonderful way to kick off a holiday weekend. Saturday I finally got my hair highlighted please read as bleached. It was nice going on a Saturday, I could roll right out of bed hit store 24 for a water hence the burgers and beers the night before and stroll right to the spa 2 minutes from my house. It was wonderful, it takes a long time to get my hair done so if i'm going to spend 2 and a half hours on a Saturday I better get something more out of it. She washed my hair for a good 15 minutes, that was worth the money right there.

We had a 50th birthday party for a gal Music Guy works with at The Swan in Kendall Square, it use to be the Kendall Cafe for those of you who lived in Cambridge (E and Mr. P i'm sure know of it). They had the placed rented out so it was a great time. I finally got to meet Music Guy's boss' wife who was just as wonderful as her husband. Then it was back home to watch the stupidest SNL, it really could not have gotten any worse. MG's parents stayed with us as they were in the city for a wedding. So I got some good wedding detail updates from his mom.

That brings us to today...We went to brunch at the Warren Tavern, I freaking love that place the only bummer was we had a lot to get done today including the gym and I felt a little wrong throwing back a screwdriver before I hit the treadmill. Nothing is better with brunch than a bloody or some other cocktail. Oh well, i'm sure i'll have brunch again!

It was then off to the gym, but of course not before dropping into an open house across the street from us! I had a great workout, it was not as busy so I tried out a few machines I was until today scared of! This butt blaster thingy was off the charts, I can start to feel the pain, no tightening just pain! Then we hit Target to try to buy an outdoor table but we were going back and forth and said we'd revisit it later.

We ran over to Costco to see if they had any sets we liked and ended up getting a membership. I made us walk around the whole place looking at everything. It was funny as we didn't get a cart and this was a trial run, the next time will be the real deal. I found so many things I needed example: a package (75) of individually wrapped cabot 50% less fat cheese slices, who doesn't need that. Hell I'm from Wisconsin, it was how I was raised, hence the butt blaster! Music Guy was a fan of the box of 90 count Mozzarella Sticks (no wonder we found each other) and the package of razors that was a lot less then what he gets at CVS. I on the other had was very excited about the 50 cans of Red Bull, that will be making an appearance in my cart my next trip. Stopped by the store to pick up some yummies for dinner, and now it's time to just lay low with a Miller Lite and pray Chatham doesn't get washed away!

Tomorrow its back to the gym and then it's off to act like a fool while others are accomplishing their dreams of running the Boston Marathon. I'd really rather be doing what i'm doing in this crazy weather. And it sounds more fun! Don't worry Suz the first beer is for you!

Mark this date and time, the Boston Red Sox will play in and win the World Series this season! (Did anyone get in on the Jordan's furniture deal?) Happy they will stop playing the damn commercials.

Yeeehaaaaa...By the way head on over to English Tea and help my gal C with the notecard sayings. "Blow me" that's a new one!

I wanna join the fun toooo

Fired up Friday

I'm really not all that fired up but I thought it was catchy..no?

Thanks to Melissa I sent the picture of the terrible bridesmaid dress to all my ladies with an email telling the I had found the one.

A wonderful Friday the 13th it is.

I have to share my commute home. And not to make this blog about the bus and commuting, but if you've lived in the city you get it. Suz, you agree?!

I spent a good 50 minutes on the treadmill last night and was on my way to the bus and saw a bus at my stop so I of course running after it, with umbrella and tote bag in hand to only miss it when the light changed. There is a stop about a block from there so I kept running and was about 5 feet from it and they took off. (mind you it was pouring rain) So I then keep running to the next set of lights (right by Houston's in Faneuil Hall) and I poked my head around to the bus driving to I don't know LET ME IN. And she pointed a head of her to the next bus stop and looked away. I was thinking f you, it's raining have I have been chasing you through 4 sets of lights.

So then I say screw it, I don't want to get on her stupid bus. Pride people it's pride! So I take off cutting threw the Bell and Hand by Haymarket, cross the street to the North End and start walking/running down the street to see if I can beat the bus to the next stop. Which is not close you have to go pass Haymarket and cross the new green way thingy and down about three more blocks. And let me tell you I was standing waiting for her to pick me up. (across from Nebo's which is over priced fancy pizza if you ask me) Of course I was soaking wet and dripping in sweat but I showed her what will happen if you don't let me on the bus.

I got home and wanted to fall over, which had nothing to do with the 12 pack of Miller Lite I carried up three flights of stairs!

Anywho, I finally found a house on the Vineyard for JJ's bachelorette party over Memorial Day weekend. And let me tell you, it is hands down the best house I have ever seen. It has barn stars and ships throughout, I hope I can refrain from stuffing it in my tote bag! I will post pictures as the weekend gets closer!

It's a long weekend for this Kimba. I took Monday off and well it looks like I might be freezing my butt off while day drinking! Regardless, its Patriots Day and this Mid-Western Gal will take any excuse to celebrate. It won't be as good as having friends live on the actual route like years pass but I'll live!

Hope you guys have a great weekend, I'll pop over and give an update if I feel it will give you a little chuckle

Ahhhh.....

Who doesn't love getting ETP for Easter!!!!!!

What snow?

It was nice to wake up this morning and see that we didn't get hit with the weather they were predicting. Though it should be raining any minute here in the city. I wore my four weather gear this morning. Of course I was freezing, I asked Music Guy if I should wear it and he said "oh yeah" looking back I wonder if he was kidding. I did look like I was about to set sail as I was waiting for the bus.

I'm wearing my fave green Jackie cardigan from JCrew with a matching green (think Kermit) polka dot headband. I paired it with a black dress, I look a little frogish today!

But figured if it was going to be crappy at least I wasn't going to feel/look crappy! And I also thought it would be a wonderful idea to tie my new green scarf on to my bag. The scarf below is the pattern, JCrew did not have the green online, but it matches the sweater.

Not much else to report, I'm in the middle of trying to not go postal here in Post Office Square.

Annoying Sox game last night. I hope the rain holds off and they are able to play this afternoon. For a few reasons...1) I will be at the gym and watching the sox...2) I do not want my team going into the weekend playing the Angels after the bad showing last night.

I was thinking of sharing my thoughts on MSNBC's decision to cancel their simulcast of Imus in the morning but am in too good of a mood to get all fired up.

Imus in the morning.....

I do indeed watch his show now and then. And when I drove to work I would flip back and forth between Imus and Dennis & Callahan. (Did I enjoy starting off my day listening to men in their 50's ranting...seems so)

So Imus will be off the air for two weeks starting next Monday eh?...I of course am not surprised after what he said about the Rutgers women's basketball team. Its completely unacceptable and he is being punished. I am happy to say he isn't trying to get out from under what he had said, he is standing up and taking it. I can't even begin to imagine what it will be like when he meets with the Rutgers ladies.

Anywho...I wonder what time they will release the DNA test? Not soon enough for me.

I was up at 4am this morning to give my mom a hug before she left. I then went back to bed and had the hardest time getting up. At one point I thought it would be a smashing idea to just stay up and get my workout in. That didn't last long! Good thing I didn't, I would not be a happy camper come 3pm.

I'm not really bringing anything to the table thus far so I'll leave you with that. More after we finally get the truth about our fave baby Dannielynn. Or at least mine!

What a weekend!

I had an absolute fabulous weekend! It was a bit cold for my liking but none the less it was great!

I worked half a day on Friday and had some things to do so it was nice to have my mom tag along for some good company! Of course we went to the Christmas Tree Shop to have "a look". Nothing really jumped out at me, though I saw a bunch of crap I wanted!

Anywho after a day of running around we came home and my mother just had to give me my Easter basket. We really have never been good at keeping gifts until the actual holiday. And she got me one of the BEST gifts. Three packages of ETP note cards. A week or so ago I had posted a picture that Chloe has on her site with the Blue Ballet Flats not only because I love them but it is my name! So my mom saw it on my blog and got a hold of my girl C and had them made.

It was such a wonderful surprise and I was happy my Easter could help out C!

Saturday I got up and hit the gym and target, I think I spent more time at Target than I did working out! Oh please i deserve a break! And then it was off to the Cape. My mom loved the Hyannisport Club, she got a lot of cute pictures and was very impressed!

Saturday Music Guys sister JJ and her fiancee G met us all down at his parents and we had a ball. Everyone was on a roll, it was so much fun. There were a few "Kimba" moments but when we all get together I tend to always leave them shaking their head the following week. I mean a lot of times what I am about to say sounds just fine in my head but once it's out of my mouth it sounds well like Kimba said it!

Sunday we all got up and ready for mass. My mom and I were about 2 minutes behind everyone and when we got to church people were standing outside because it was so packed they couldn't get in. That was a bummer as Father Mark was saying mass and he is marring us and one of the greatest people I know!

After dinner we all headed back to the city but not after sitting in stop and go traffic on Rt 3 for 2 and a half hours. That was fun!

When Music Guy and I moved in together we didn't get HBO because last season of the Sopranos was a bust and normally Entourage is on in the summer and we can watch them onDemand on the Cape. But this weekend HBO had a free weekend and now it has me thinking. Do I spend the extra money for the shows (which includes the adding and removing fees) or do we wait and catch up with them while we're on the Cape? I think the latter is what is the best idea. Also we have enough friends who have HBO maybe we could invite ourselves over?

This week is a bit crazy as I will only be working three days next week. Patriots day of course on Monday (though I have to use it as a vacation day) and that next Friday we are flying to Detroit for JJ's bridal shower. I have only flown through DET and am very excitied to see where Music Guy grew up. (Though someone was just shot there a few hours ago).

Also, rumor has it we will hear who Dannielynns real father is tomorrow. TEAM BIRKHEAD

One year ago today

One year ago I worked on the investment side and had the day off. And I met my wonderful boyfriend for lunch at Joe's on Newbury St, he shows up and we're wearing the same shirt. At this time we didn't live together and this was super random. My mom was in town and was able to snap this picture! HA!

My Good Friday

Hoppy Easter to you all!

As my follow Bean-town gal Libby does, it's thankful/grateful Friday over here in Kimba blogland.

First things first...my Music Guy, he's the only one that when I go all crazy town agrees I am acting as nuts as I think I am! And or he's so darn cute!

Of course my mom who is on a plane right now to spend Easter with me!

Getting back to Music Guy, the blog he and his colleagues created for a contest for work. And of course its pretty cool if I do say so myself! Check it out! Paolo Nutini Boston Team They spent a lot of time with this contest! It's a great record and I could not be happier to say I too have met the one and only Paolo Nutini and he is pretty great!
My super cute outfit that fits a little better after kicking my ass at the gym all week!
All of you for sticking with me and making me laugh day in and day out!

this is for fav A

SEE YOU SOON!

another look

I should be a sash if I could

If you know me you know I am the queen of sashes. I got my first vv sash when they first came out, I didn't even particularly like the color but I was at In the Pink and had to have it. Loving it was a whale pattern (the blue one) and knowing it would be the perfect touch to my outfit that evening came into play (big time).

I have been disappointed the past few months/year that Vineyard Vines has only had one or two sashes on line and have not updated their patterns. But today I was pleasantly surprised! They don't seem to have any additionally patterns but they do have their old standbys back up on line!

This is one I've been wanting to get to pair with a cute white beach dress I adore!

Happy Happy Hump Day

Hope ya'll are having a good week! Very busy over here but not to busy to drop in!

Lent is almost over and I have made a mockery out of what I have given up. I forwent Diet Coke a few weeks...err days in. Pizza was only consumed once...er twice. Meat on Friday was another one that didn't get me too bad. But the whole point of Lent I was able to grasp and was an honorable Catholic as my mother says it's not about "giving things up" yes a sacrifice is suppose to be made but it doesn't always have to do with diet coke and pizza.

Speaking of mom, she is coming on Friday...woohoo!!! We have a packed weekend ahead! I am going to get out of work at noon on Friday and her and I have some errands to run and then lots of family time! Her and I will head to the Cape on Saturday morning to check out the Hyannisport Club and I am hoping we can do a little dress shopping. Though I wanted to lose weight before then but given I only have 3 days I might not be able to drop the 20 pounds I was hoping for! HA!

As for Easter the plans are still a little up in the air. One thing that is for sure is I am in major need for a mani/pedi. I wanted to ask if there is a good spring color out there you've tried that are a fan of. I know Suz got boathouse and just the name of it makes me a fan, but wanted to know any other thoughts!

More later, hopefully I will post after I've shown the gym what i'm made of! :)

gym update

Just got home...

Did 50 minutes on the treadmill...walked home in the freakin' windy cold...now I feel i have an ear ache coming on...Go figure.

Off to finish the last of the cleaning!!!!!

Guess its the only way to enjoy the cold when you are in spring mode

Whoa

When I left you last I had a whole evening planned and well it was MORE than I had listed.

I hit the elliptical at 4pm for the start of the Sox game. It's funny how I was able to breeze through 40 minutes without much huff. I do love my Sox! I then figured there is no reason for me to wait at the bus stop why not start walking and if one comes when I'm near a stop I'll pick it up. Well one never came so I ended up walking home!

Then it all started! I washed, dried and folded six loads of laundry! It got to a point I was stripping the sheets to wash them just because I was on a roll. Threw the comforters in the dryer with a dryer sheet and febreeze to "fresh and fluff them". I cleaned both bathrooms including scrubbing the showers and floors. I took all of our winter coats and febreezed them and put them away. Also took the basket of scarfs, hats and gloves and put those away and replaced them with a basket of baseball hats by the door. (sounds odd I know). I then cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom. Did all the dusting and then straightened every room even if it didn't need it. The only thing I didn't touch was Music Guy's office, I am not going to be responsible for tossing something on the floor if that is where it was suppose to be. Doesn't sound like much but believe me it was!

Then I looked at the clock and it was 9:15, I finally put my PJ's on and watched Scarborough Country and was off to bed. When Music Guy gets home we will catch up on our Monday night TV, though it won't be tonight as he won't get home until VERY late. :( So no Prison Break and 24 talk without a **spoiler alert**!

Boring post I know! :)

You're my (our) boy!!!

JONNY PAPS!!!!!!!!!!

quick quick quick

That is how I felt this weekend went by.

Friday we had a good crew of people over for a little get together. Always a great time!
I could see it becoming a trend, which is fine with me!

Saturday we headed to the Cape for the night, it was fun to get out of the city and just relax!
Checked out some patio goodies and found nothing :(. Everything was to big, I mean do they not make sets for people who don't own a big ole' house?

We had a wonderful little getaway to the Cape, great laughs! It was very relaxing!

Yesterday I just went and got some groceries and spent most of the time catching up on some magazines.

We watched Hollywoodland last evening. It was really good, if you're up for a nothing movie I'd recommend it! I thought it was a very good role for Ben Affleck. Seems Sundays have become "movie night" goodness I am happy baseball has started. I might be able to take any more of this!

Music Guy is out of town for work this evening so I have a lot in store for this Monday...
Clean (big time)
Watch the DVR'd Sox game
Laundry
24
bed....
Waaahoooo

This is indeed a nothing post, but wanted to get something up!
