Wedding Friday up in here

These are both Augusta Jones
Don't worry i would have a completely different sash. No bedazzling for me!
Why does the model look so pissed off?

I love the second dress, but someone needs to tell that model people are usually happy when they get married.

I really love both of them!

I love, love, love the one with blue sash, sans rhinestones.

I adore the first dress, I'm just head over heels about the scalloped edge on top! Seriously, if I had it to do over, this one would be way up on my list.

I love them both but especially that first one. It is really, really beautiful. I'm with Libby - if I was doing it again, this one would be high on my list of possibilities.

I love the first one - the scallop detailing is beautiful. Are you planning on wearing a sash?

I love them both, especially the first one. Is it wrong that I like the sash? I just love blue.

Hello (came to your blog via Libby)!

The first one is gorgeous - of course without the beading, but sashes provide a nice pop; I am engaged myself and going to get my dress this August, and rhinestones don't thrill me as much as well.

As for the models, model people never look happy and some of them aren't even "model-like" - my friend has come up with the theory that the model is not supposed to distract from the dress. (This Fall's Vera Wang models are extremely unhappy as usual!)

Ps. Congrats!

Love the first one.

My vote is for the 1st one. The scalloped edge on top makes the dress for me.

They are both beautiful and classic...either way you can't go wrong!

Both are beautiful! The scalloped edge on the first dress reminds me of the Cape.

Wow, this is really funny...I was in a wedding this weekend and my friend wore the second dress. It was gorgeous on. She wasn't crazy about the flowers so at one of her fittings she asked to have them moved. Instead of on the front, they were on the back at the top of her bustle. It looked really beautiful. I will tell you that it took three of us to get her into the dress--the corseting inside was quite complicated. I have no idea how her husband managed to get her out of it at the end of the night!!! She found it at Kleinfeld's in NY and had a positive experience there. Btw, she and her new husband also live in Charlestown!!

Both are truly classic. . .but I opt for the first one as well. So put this one to the top of the list until you find another for us to view! What fun! I also like the sash idea but agree, definitely without the rhinestones. The scallop top is definitely nautical.

Second one is my favorite, but man, she looks miserable - way to model a wedding gown :)
