The coming together of Music Guy and Kimba

It was a super warm Saturday evening and Smarty Jones had won the Kentucky Derby earlier in the afternoon. My girlfriend Naomi (Nao) and I were on our way to meet up with this guy Denver I had gone a few dates with at Jillian’s and his college buddies. (That really was his name, not a blogging name)! We got there, went up to meet them at their table and had a few cocktails and ended up just talking to eachother.

At this point I had said a total of two words to this guy and thought what a jackass I don't need this. So Nao and I told him we were headed to the bathroom and slipped out the back door to Tequila rain which was not as annoying as he was but close.
We thought let’s try the Tiki Room there is no line and if someone is going to serve me a drink that needs three straws I’m in!

So Nao and I walked up to the bar and there was this guy standing there so of course by this time her and I had a few drinks so I said to him “You’re a babe” he looks back and me and says “Who me”, and then as if once wasn’t enough I said again “you’re a babe”. The first thing he asked me where I was from because of my accent, I said Wisconsin and he being from Michigan was impressed to be hit on by a Mid-Western girl!

The rest is as they say history or as I said details details details!
**Side note** Music Guy was there for a buddies birthday party, he is a big fan of Landsdown St when the Sox are not in town!

We spent the rest of the summer watching the Sox go on to win the World Series and the rest of the fall/winter watching the Pats win the Super Bowl. Boy did I think our relationship was good for our home town teams!

Music Guy also played music out at bars/clubs when we met so it was weird to show up and have chicks singing his songs back to him and having to be ok with it. But all in all it was fun! :)

That’s the short and sweet version!

A relationship that blooms with the Boston sports scene, I don't think it can get more romantic! In fact, it sounds like a movie plot!
