And a happy Friday it is

Found the girls dress last night! Strapless, knee length,h A-line. This picture is exactly what I'm looking for (the strapless ones) navy with a light blue or white sash. I'm so undecided about the sash color, both look amazing! Good thing I have a lot of time!

A from Fave Couple and I had a blast. She was such a good sport, even twirled for me! I love all of the suggestions and advise she gave me. Definitely someone you want by your side!
Tonight we're heading to Beacon Hill for J's birthday get together. Should be fun! Tomorrow I have a baby shower, along with the Preakness. Busy but fun weekend ahead!

So you like the dress?

Very cute. You should have them do their sashes more like the first photo than the second one...she looks undone with it tied like that.

Meg, You're correct, i want them tied in the back, i HATE how it looks when it's just folded over like that.

Very pretty! I love navy. My bridesmaids' dresses were navy (back in 1993).

Great dresses. I am pretty much wearing the same thing in my little sisters wedding except they are light blue with a white sash. I'll post pictures after the wedding...3 more weeks!

HOORAY! I'm so happy you found what you're looking for! I love navy and I think it'll look fresh, clean, and fabulous with the light blue or the white sash! What a classic preppy look! love it! Happy Friday!

Kimba, another possiblity for the sashes is to have your maid/matron of honor wear one color of sash and the other girls another. I was recently in a wedding and the matron and I wore cream sashes with our light green dresses and the rest of the bridesmaids wore a darker green sash. I thought of this for my wedding, but actually didn't want the MOH to stand out over other maids, but for other girls it's a great choice. Just a thought if you're torn between two colors. I'll try to find a pic I can post.
