You do this right?

I was getting coffee at a meeting this morning and realized they did not have any Equal, Splenda or Sweet n Low, I did what any non sugar fan would do...used the packets in my purse. No big deal right? I guess it was. I had about 5 people call me out on doing so and they all got into a discussion on how sweetener is overrated and sweetener fans are always having to be accommodated. Who the heck asked them anyways...It's not like I asked for a Decaf with nonfat soy with my Equal. Moving on...

10 hoursto first pitch! I'm ready!!! There is a little rain in the forecast but it doesn't look like enough to postpone the game, which God knows would not be good for us working Sox fans. And God's a Sox fan so we should be fine!

I carry splenda in my bag for that exact reason - people getting on my case because I don't want sugar!!

Of course! I prefer Splenda to the other ones, and will pass on a drink if they do not have the yellow packets.

I carry splenda in my bag and my friends/family call me "Nana." I also am not above lifting some from restaurants/dunks when my supply is running low.

That's so funny...but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Will be thinking of you Red Sox fans tonight...

Darn, Kimba, you and your sugar substitutes, you're so high maintenance! ;)

6.5 hours and counting....

I'm lame, if there's no sugar substitue I just go right for the real deal. What a crappy weight watcher I am, eh?

Good luck to you Beantown folks tonight!

Oh, yes, I always have Splenda. I emailed Starbucks a while back because they didn't have it and about two weeks later it appeared. Of course they put it in their stores because of me.

Sorry, but God does love those mountain people!

I'm with Mrs. Preppy, if they don't have Splenda, I'll pass. Sugar doesn't dissolve nearly as well, and whereas Splenda is 4 calories per packet (not 0, but close), sugar is 15. And rots your teeth. Who on earth in this day and age actually gets on other people for not wanting sugar?!

I agree! I don't like sugar... it hurts my stomach! What are they talking about? You were accommodating yourself!

I never have splenda - just pacifiers and wipes- but - I do say its rediculous that with all the things to focus on these days people decide to pay attention to such trivial, rediculous things that are none of their business-

You should just look down at your self , back up and then give them the onceover at and be like yep... thats why I use Splenda. and you know what I'll be even hotter on my wedding day.

Rooting for the Sox for you Boston girls!

I am with ladybug's picnic...you give me a restaurant with splenda and its a given that a small supply will end up in my bag! Got to have my splenda!

What???? Tell them to shut up! I HAVE to have either Equal or Splenda (Sweet&Low makes me want to throw up - ugh- the aftertaste!) I'm always having to use the ones in my purse because sometimes restaurants don't carry them.(cheap SOBs)

Hey, if it's good enough for Nanas, then it's good enough for anyone, right??

Great game last night - is Josh Beckett amazing or what ???

haha, see thats when I go "welp! I guess I HAVE to use FULL fledge sugar! WOOOHOO!"

then between the caffeine and sugar I get the shakes for an hour or so. Good times.

And why exactly do those people think what you put in your coffee or where you get it is any of their business??? Good for you for being prepared. I'm with the Girl Scouts on this.

And congrats on those Sox!!

Why in the hell do these people a) care what you're putting in your coffee, and b)feel the need to comment about accommodating when you have your own and aren't complaining about it, just getting your stash out of your bag? Some people!

I am a Splenda girl and I never ever leave home without it.

Splenda for me, too. If it's not available, I always have a stash in my purse. Why can't people just mind their own business?
