What to do

So I'm about to pack up my stuff and well I have an issue. I have the Pats and Celtics schedules up on my board and I do not want to take them down because the seasons have been going so well. I kept the Sox schedule up until after the World Series HOW'D THAT WORK OUT FOR ME!!!!!

I sure hope the person who replaces me is a C's fan!

Yesterday they threw a suprise lunch for me at Silvertones! And of course it involved a roast and props. A funny line I thought you'd get a kick out of was "If Kimberly is not wearing pearls you know it’s not going to be a good day”. Funny funny people aren't they.

I'm starting to go through my desk and i've found two bottles of self tanner. I can't even explain that one!

I hope to report back later! Gosh this is sad.

Here I am....

Wow what a week. I am looking forward to a long weekend! A week filled with interviews and me and my new boss on our blackberries counter offering with a recruiter while in the same meeting knowing what each of you are up too. Typical week.

So yep, I GOT IT!!!

Now it's on to find someone to replace me. Is it possible? HA!

Thanks for ALL your support, it is just so wonderful to be able to put myself out there like this and have such a great group of ladies there for me!

Ok now i'm freaking out....new job+big deal job=Kimba freaking out.

Why can't I go back to the day when we were strolling around Harvard acting like smart people. :) Those were the days!

Tuesday update

Thank you for your sweet comments! It's a fun and stressful time for me and it helps to know you all are here for a little (lot) support!

I really will have a recap soon, things have been a tad busy the last week.

I am going for a new job at work and had my interview today and meet with another person tomorrow morning. The interview was suppose to be yesterday morning but with all the snow it was pushed back. It obviously was a good thing as I was able to have more time to prepare but that also means I have more time to stress. It went very well today we'll just see how tomorrow goes!

On a fun note I received the below necklace from the super talented and super sweet Kelley from KEP Designs this weekend. I'm hoping to get a great picture of me sporting them to show you guys!

Election Day

Thank you all for your thoughtful comments, my father is back home and sounding good!

I have an all day meeting on Thursday and I'm off on Friday so today was crazy and tomorrow will be the same. I'm looking forward to a four day weekend! Three weeks in a row I will have had a four day work week! And hope the week of Thanksgiving is only three days, I think I can swing it. We're going to the Cape for Thanksgiving, looking forward to some days down there!

Music Guy downloaded Firefox for our Mac so I finally have full blogging privileges at home!

I was reading on line that the are making a Shopaholic Series movie? I think that would be pretty neat expect for there is talk Becky is going to be American...? Weird.

What is with people...

First off. Wooooohooooo! Go Sox!!!

I thought being called out for my Equal was a bit much. BUT that is nothing compared to some random lady asking me why on earth I would wear a heel while in my boot. Who cares about my choice of footwear on a foot that is just fine. If you expect to see me hoofing it in tennis shoes and a suit (only for commuting in my book) around the office you're crazy. And another thing the boot is a heel in itself.

Not much to update on the wedding planning front. Our engagement party details are pretty much set. It's going to be in January so it will be something nice to look forward to after the the holidays are over.

Here's to a great game tonight!!! Giddy up!

I was getting coffee at a meeting this morning and realized they did not have any Equal, Splenda or Sweet n Low, I did what any non sugar fan would do...used the packets in my purse. No big deal right? I guess it was. I had about 5 people call me out on doing so and they all got into a discussion on how sweetener is overrated and sweetener fans are always having to be accommodated. Who the heck asked them anyways...It's not like I asked for a Decaf with nonfat soy with my Equal. Moving on...

10 hoursto first pitch! I'm ready!!! There is a little rain in the forecast but it doesn't look like enough to postpone the game, which God knows would not be good for us working Sox fans. And God's a Sox fan so we should be fine!

I'm going to be in and out of meetings for the next couple of days, I'm hoping to be able to post when I get home.

The weather here has warmed up and I am very happy about that. I finally do not look like a crazy woman standing waiting for the bus in my flip flops in a suit. Ok yeah I still do!

**While typing this I added a green sticky note to a document I was working on and attached it with a pink paperclip. Does that scream geek in the pink or way to much time on my hands, definitely not the latter! :)**

I have a hydrangea plan on my desk that I would love to keep here but am scared it will die over the long weekend. Taking it home would be pointless because no one will be there, any thoughts? Over water it on Friday and pray?

Well I am off to hit the gym, I might not be making much time for blogging but that does not mean I'm not making gym for the treadmill. Though I wish I was! :)

Thursday already??

This possibly has been the busiest craziest week of my life. That being said, bring on the weekend!

This week has been full of conference calls, meetings, fire drills and then the normal crazy reporting that needed to be done lets say um.. yesterday.

I finally got my Buff Brides DVD (I'd include a link but it seems my works server thinks it's some porn site and I can't access it). So I'm looking forward to starting that, I just hope the chicks who are "teaching" on the DVD aren't mousy and annoying...That would be a deal breaker. Ok not really, I can always mute it!

I am starting to read Sophie Kinsella's book "The Undomestic Goddess", I have never read any of her books before but I hear they're all very good. This one is starting out pretty funny! I know I am behind the times with her books, but hey you have to be late to the party now and then!

I wish I had something a little more fruitful for you on this sunny cold Thursday! Snow? That is a good one...

We're suppose to get some snow! I just checked what my morning commute looks like and it looks ANNOYING! Wintry Mix/Heavy Rain and wind. Does that not just scream ugly outfit day? Naw, nothing a cute sweater can take care of!

I have a free moment so i'm going to run to the gym and get back for yet another series of conference calls. Giddy up!
