Ho Ho Ho

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! We were watching the Today Show on Christmas Eve and they were talk about New Years resolutions, don't get me wrong I am ALL for resolutions but...NBC just blew past Christmas right into the New Year. I guess I need to catch up with the times. No pun.

I saw the neatest Boutonniere's the other day. I wish I could have saved the picture to post, but i'll try to explain. It was a single flower (white rose for my guys) with a blue ribbon wrapped around half of the steam and attached was a tiny starfish pin. Similar to the one below but it had a little bit of a softer look. I've been searching high and low and have only come up with this one from Lapel Pin Planet. I'm not going to lie the name kind of sleeves me out for some reason. I loved the idea and if I find pins I like i'm going to see how it looks with a navy (or light blue) ribbon on a rose. (I did however find one pin I loved, only $2,000, what a steal! 10 boutonniere's times $2,000 = $20,000)

That's pretty much it for now!

I'm working this week and today was surprisingly busy. It does make the day go quick but damn it people take some vacation already! Oh did I mention I'm losing 9 days of vacation I didn't use this year! Asshat.

What a cute idea! I've love hearing of your wedding plans. Keep those posts coming! No detail is small enough to be uninteresting to me!

Hubby lost a few days of vacation last year and I think this year it might be the same. Just busy busy, I guess.

Love the starfishy idea. 20 grand, huh? I'm sure that fits right into the budget :) I have found that it's the little things that are costing us a fortune!

Happy '08!

So clever you are! Love the idea.

That totally sucks about your vacation! Maybe your boss can work something out? or maybe just try to get some of it back NOW? Right NOW. . .close up your computer and take some vacation. . .NOW. . .leave work NOW. . .this minute! Tell them "see yah next year." Humm, how would that work out? Wait, I think you look like you are coming down with something. . .better head out the door NOW!

Well, I hope next year, especially with your final details of your wedding planning, AND your wedding, you are able to use every MINUTE of your vacation!

Sara I think you're right, unless you come up with better ones, you're the one that would be able to find something like that! :)

What a cute idea. That stinks about the vacation time. Our company will rollover 1/2 the time until March which is nice.
