Well I got a call from my mom this morning telling me she couldn't make her flight and that she would try to get out on a later flight. And then she told me why....
Last evening my mom went to the ER with a very bad headache, they admitted her to the hospital right away and found out she has two blood clots in her brain. They don't have a lot of information right now but it seems everything is going to be ok. She cannot fly for a while but they're hopeful things will work out. It's been a pretty rough day for us thus far, but i've been able to talk to her a bunch of times while she's waiting for more and more test.
I'm going to hit the gym now, I'm feeling a bit dazed and think a good workout might help. We need a lot of prayers right now (and of course always)! She's going to be just fine and I can't wait to have her walk me down the aisle!!!

oh my gosh Kimba-I'm so sorry to hear! mega prayers to your mom! I think the gym is probably perfect right about now. Always helps me out when I'm feeling super stressed as well.

Oh Kimba--praying for your Mom and your family. My Mom had a blood clot in her brain that they didn't catch---so I know it is good they caught them. My Mom ended up being fine and I know your Mom will too. Thinking of you.

I hope that all will be well with your mother. Blood clots are frightening (I live with DVT). No flying is not a good thing and hopefull with the treatment she will be back to her wonderful Kimba Mamma self. Many prayers her way and yours.
