I would have this look with a combo of light blue hydrangeas.
When I see hydrangeas I save all ideas, this is a bit to much "something blue" but I like the name tags. But do you really need to "tag" them? Assuming they would be all the same, maybe the maid of honors is a bit different (not in mine) or is it a photo opt?
I like the ribbon!
At one point when I was looking on the knot, i thought this was very cute, but now it kind of hurts my eyes!
Love this cake, (stole the pic from MMM). I want to included our monogram as much as I can (only if it's tasteful of course). Don't worry I'm not going to go "crazy" with rJk. That's right I'm thinking he's initial will be before mine. I know typically the ladies goes first but I like how it looks. But we have time for me to flip flop back and forth!

They are all so gorgeous. The cake is to die for. I'm so jealous, wedding planning is so much fun!
i love the second from the top
Love all of your wedding finds. Especially the cake! We'll have to compare pics of how our cakes ACTUALLY turn out. =)
Love the cake - I've got to get the photo to my caterer so she can work our monogram into my cake. Keep the great finds coming!
Love those flowers, we are using hydrangeas but not as blue as the one picture & I do think that the tag might be too much.
Beautiful choices - very elegant. The cake you pictured was the same inspiration for my wedding cake (I think it was in Southern Living.) We used green hydrangeas and champagne roses (my colors were green, ivory and champagne). I'll see if I can find a picture for you.
They are all so wonderful and breath-taking. I am partial to tulips though. I love the way the satin ribbon is around the stems with the pearled pins. So gorgeous.
My friend (I was a bridesmaid) used the pins and the satin ribbon for our bouquets. It was adorable.
Maybe I'm horribly gauche, but the bride's initial/name is supposed to go first?! BF and I had a debate going about this, because he wondered why the bride's name was always first!
L, you are correct the wife’s initial traditionally goes first but my guys nickname is “RJ” and I like how his nickname could remain the same with a little “k” on the end!
I have seen the bride's bouquet like the ones pictured, but in a bundle of three individual bouquets, each with a sash, and then one sash around the three, so it appeared as one bouquet. But then, unknown to the guests, the outer sash holding the three was removed by the bride, just before the bouquet was tossed, so the bride's bouquet separated into three pieces and three lucky gals caught the bouquet. It made for a surprise and fun time. Not as many gals went grumbling empty handed, and three lucky singles walked away hopeful. :-)
The tulips look gorgeous, but I wonder how they will hold up through the ceremony - they do tend to get droopy.
I like the second one down as well; and I like blue hydrangeas in any hue (but not the tags!).
That cake is truly lovely.
:-)
