If you see the picture below my ring is hanging out in an unsafe place on my finger. It is not secure whatsoever. So here's my question: what products have you seen to make it more snug.
You might ask "why don't I get it resized" well here's the thing in the cold weather my hands shrink beyond belief, so I need a "fix" for now.
Any thoughts?
On Christmas Day I was in Mass and while reaching for the Bible my ring flew off and landed two rows in front of me. Thank God (pun intended) I was at Church and not on the street. Of course while everyone else is praying i'm crawling on the floor. Now do you see why I need the help!
Next on my list: mani.

I think they make ring sizers that you can use temporarily. I used to wear one with my HS boyfriend's class ring. (sigh) I would check with a jeweler & they can probably help you out. Nothing scarier than hearing that ring hit the floor!
This is probably going to be so unhelpful because I can't remember the product name or where I saw it. I just read about this stuff that you "paint" on to the inside of your ring and it peels off when you don't need it anymore. Maybe someone else will know what I am talking about and be able to help you a bit more!
I had my jeweler put on a ring guard up until I decided to get it resized. This stuff was in Lucky magazine a couple months ago and sounds like a good idea, but I haven't used it.

Not much help either, but I have heard of something that goes on the inside of the ring, like some sort of guard. Ring guard sounds good.
Told you I would not be helpful!
J, I saw the same type of "paint" in a magazine and I for the life of me am unable to locate it. (the Magaizne that is!)
The jewelers have this little band that goes on the inside of the ring, but only for half the ring, on the back part so it doesn't show at all.
It has some little spring thingy on each end where it attachs to the ring that adjusts when you put the ring on. The ring just slips over the knuckle but then tightens up (spring goes back in place) when it is slipped in place on your finger. I don't know the name for it but have seen them on rings and later was given that option from a jeweler when I went to get a ring resized. It must be a fairly common method and really is not as clunky as I have made it sound like it would be. Good luck!
I had my jeweler place 2 balls on the inside of my band. I'm guessing they can be removed, so it's better than having the ring re-sized. So far, so good.
i know this isn't going to sound great, but I have the same problem. My band fits a little tighter than my engagement ring so I were them in the wrong order. I wear my engagment ring closer to my hand, & my band closer to my fingertip.
I also have the two balls in my ring. Yes they can be removed by a jeweler.
All of these sound like great suggestions- I'm just dying over the imagery of you crawling about on the floor during Mass!
Funny isn't it Lib! :)
