We have a wall of about 60 banker's boxes in our basement...every one of them contains his "records." This way, he explains to me, his biographer will be able to more accurately craft the story of his life.Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07098004423308215291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213333.post-16963455837779449582008-02-20T11:08:00.000-05:002008-02-20T11:08:00.000-05:00I still have my lunch box from when I was in kinde...I still have my lunch box from when I was in kindergarten! Before I moved in with my husband into a little rental house I had moved nearly once a year for almost six years, so I was pretty lean when it came to unnecessary stuff. But he had been in that house for eight years, and when we moved to the house we bought and live in now, he had the most enormous amount of junk. Most of it fell into the category of "little box of unrelated crap," which might include, for example, a golf ball (he doesn't play), a yard of leather string, a half-burned candle, a few small parts to a car he no longer owns, a tape cassette, some paperclips, and a birthday card from second grade. You would think that I could throw this all away, right? Not if I didn't want him frantically digging through the trash can. We still have some of those boxes!!Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08186499647670460862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213333.post-24348165101093353522008-02-19T08:56:00.000-05:002008-02-19T08:56:00.000-05:00I have a HUGE box FILLED with high school stuff th...I have a HUGE box FILLED with high school stuff that I will NEVER get rid of. Locker decorations, newspaper clippings, text books, notebooks/binders, photos, even clothes that are WAY too small but that I LOVED back then. Not particularly weird, but I can't even go there on the weird stuff. I am a pack rat and it pains me to throw anything away. I'm sure you can imagine the junk I have stored away, including OLD running sneakers that I haven't used in 10 years but can't seem to throw away..WTF! Great to see you 'back' Kimba!REDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06883892688598936238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213333.post-66143533457519879462008-02-18T19:52:00.000-05:002008-02-18T19:52:00.000-05:00i also discovered soooooo many old notebooks, text...i also discovered soooooo many old notebooks, textbooks, and nonsense from my high school days when we moved recently -- glad to hear i'm not the only one still keeping that stuff around!Melissa C Morrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02206815499556534727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213333.post-91590291053046891782008-02-18T19:13:00.000-05:002008-02-18T19:13:00.000-05:00I can't even focus on "the strangest thing you've ...I can't even focus on "the strangest thing you've ever found from long ago..." because Im stuck on the nice weather you're having! When my husband and I moved from our apartment in Cambridge to our current house, I found junk mail in his desk from his apartment in NYC circa 2000. So not only did he KEEP junk mail, he MOVED it with him to several apartments in NH and MA.

Needless to say it did not survive our last move.Greens and Pinkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15576231871846001992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213333.post-52613892192820860152008-02-18T13:51:00.000-05:002008-02-18T13:51:00.000-05:00It's nice here today too! 55 degrees feels SO warm...It's nice here today too! 55 degrees feels SO warm right now!
