I bought them at Fields and thought they were expensive but love love love them. I almost want a new pair, since mine are an older style. Meghan has a more modern pair but already wants another! We had so much snow here last winter, however, that I started wearing my Timberland hiking boots and actually love them too! You have inspired me and I think I may just order a new pair of Uggs. I love that short style in grey. They really are fabulous and really keep you warm.
Have fun!Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05610913343176407453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213333.post-77679536379214731202008-12-19T04:04:00.000-05:002008-12-19T04:04:00.000-05:00I have Uggs, Bean boots and Hunters (what can I sa...I have Uggs, Bean boots and Hunters (what can I say - I have a shoe issue) and each serve their purpose. Uggs are incredibly warm and cozy, but if you're walking a lot there isn't a lot of structure and support. As for Bean Boots, I love that I can trudge through the calf-high slush on the sidewalks in Chicago. If your feet need a little extra warmth, check out the insulated ones. As for my Hunter wellies, they're great but I don't find that I have as much traction as I do with my Bean boots. Hope that helps!tvhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15594136598603739026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213333.post-56398773598017912012008-12-18T16:02:00.000-05:002008-12-18T16:02:00.000-05:00Until I got my first pair of uggs this fall, I hat...Until I got my first pair of uggs this fall, I hated them. I thought they were so ugly and cliche. However, now I am hooked -- they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. No socks required! But I never wear them when it is rainy or slushy because I don't want them to get gross. They are SO comfy and the best part is, you don't have to wear socks (and I never do anyway, so...bonus.) However. I don't think they're necessarily the best commuting boot when it's snowy/slushy/gross out. I wear them almost every day with jeans - because I'm not commuting anywhere!

I also have a pair of Bean boots that I wear to shovel snow, but that's about all I wear them for. Maybe you could get a cute pair of Hunter wellies with the heavy sock lining? Best of both worlds?Greens and Pinkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15576231871846001992noreply@blogger.com
